Praise the Lord from the earth…mountains and all the hills, fruit trees and ALL CEDARS!
In Texas, we are “blessed” with trees called Ashe Juniper. It is more commonly known by it’s feared and dreaded name, Mountain Cedar. These trees pollinate during the winter. Right now, they are busy praising the Lord.
For those with allergies, like myself, it is a miserable time of the year. It is known as Cedar Fever. It is so bad that it even affects people that aren’t allergic to it. Unfortunately, most medication both OTC and prescription are only minimally effective. People walk around in a Cedar Fever haze for weeks. It is considered normal for January. The season generally starts about Christmas time and finishes about Valentine’s Day.
I am ready for ALL CEDARS to stop praising!
